Lady Bound is a mentoring and leadership non-profit organization that focuses on girls in grades 6-12.  Lady Bound was founded by Essence Award-Winning Educator Tequila Pennington-Calwise in 2006 in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.  Lady Bound is active at Euclid Park School in Cleveland, Ohio and Brush High School in South Euclid/Lyndhurst, Ohio.  We help empower girls to create and maintain a healthy lifestyle by teaching and encouraging violence prevention, drug and alcohol prevention, anti-gang affliations, self-esteem, college and career readiness, positive decision making, healthy relationship building, tutoring, community service and much more.
