Lady Bound Sister Ceremony

The Lady Bound Sister Ceremony is the final chapter in a girl's daily Lady Bound membership.  Girls who are moving on to high school graduate from Lady Bound and is encouraged to join other girls groups geared more towards high school life.  Although once you are Lady Bound, you are ALWAYS Lady Bound, the everyday interactions and weekly meetings do not occur for high school girls.  This is a very emotional transition for everyone, as no one wants to leave the group because over time, we truly become sisters. 
Lady Bound is a non-profit organization that focuses on the development and mentoring of young girls in grades 6-12. Featured in the January 2013 Issue of Essence Magazine.
